Graci Harkema, local DEI thought leader, leads this interactive and engaging workshop. Attendees can expect to walk away with learning how to be a more inclusive leader, with an understanding of the organizational business case of diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as ways in which building an inclusive workplace are possible. Graci will identify ways to address discrimination, microaggressions, and unconscious bias and how to implement action steps and continued learning for inclusion and equity.

Graci Harkema is the owner of Graci LLC, international diversity, equity & inclusion consulting firm. She specializes in implicit bias training and public speaking within the Fortune 500, small businesses, municipalities and non-profit organizations representing nearly many industries throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark and Switzerland. Graci is committed to helping clients build equitable and inclusive work environments where employees are empowered to perform to their potential as their true selves. Graci is passionate about serving the community by volunteering her time on LGBTQ non-profit boards and committees. She is also an avid supporter of her parents’ faith-based non-profit, Heart for Central Africa, in her hometown in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Graci is recognized as a 2015 and 2020 ‘40 Under Forty Business Leader of West Michigan’ and is recognized as one of the 2020 and 2021 ‘200 Most Powerful Business Leaders of West Michigan’ by Grand Rapids Business Journal. REFUND POLICY

If you are unable to attend a chapter event and wish to cancel your registration, you must notify the AHRM Board Secretary no later than the Friday prior to the event at 4pm. If you notify us prior to 4pm on the Friday prior to the event, you will receive a refund for your payment. If you are unable to notify us prior to this time, no refunds will be given. If you register for an event but choose to pay at a later date, but do not attend the event (or cancel within the specified timeframe) you will still be invoiced for the payment.
