In Glassdoor’s 2020 Diversity Hiring Survey, more than 3 out of 4 job seekers and employees (76%) reported a diverse workforce was a stand-out factor when evaluating companies and job offers. If your organization’s benefits offerings are not perceived as inclusive, you may be missing out on top talent or failing when it comes to retention. Beyond benefit offerings, inclusive benefits are a key element of an actionable Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy.
In this session speakers Lauren Fabbri and Whitney White from Marsh McLennan Agency will guide us in 1) Defining inclusive benefits 2) Describing the strategic connection of inclusive benefits to organizational success 3) Providing examples of inclusive benefits strategies that are relevant to today’s workforce.
As a Vice President with MMA, Lauren takes a holistic approach to benefits in order to address a changing workforce. Lauren understands employee engagement and education is essential to the success of an employee benefits program. In 2017, Lauren was recognized as an Employee Benefit News Rising Star, which highlighted her as an up-and-coming industry leader. In 2019, she earned Corp! Magazine’s Most Valuable Millennial. Since joining Marsh McLennan Agency, Whitney has leveraged her skills to enhance the value proposition of the MMA MI Health & Benefits practice by understanding and applying leading-edge thinking around employee culture and DE&I strategy. She utilizes consulting and process improvement methodology to help MMA clients develop and implement key strategies to advance culture and DE&I integration within their organizations. Whitney is the author of Five Essential Competencies of Effective Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leaders, a guidebook that documents what leaders need to know and be able to do to elevate their DE&I efforts.
