How to launch an HR Apprenticeship in your workplace

Angela Rogers is the Manager of the Apprenticeship Program at the SHRM Foundation.
Angela is a skilled HR professional with a strong background in project management and apprenticeship regulation. Angela previously worked for a State Apprenticeship Agency as a regulator in apprenticeship, where she managed and oversaw 161 statewide registered apprenticeship programs from multiple industries. Angela contributed to a wide range of policy initiatives and ensured that apprenticeship programs met high standards of quality and effectiveness. With her extensive experience and deep understanding of HR, Angela is a valuable asset to any organization in need of strategic leadership and project management expertise.
Angela received her graduate degree from Kentucky State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. In addition, she is certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Ms. Rogers is a two-time commissioned Kentucky Colonel, the highest title of honor bestowed by the sitting Governor of Kentucky in recognition of outstanding service to the community, state, and nation.

Nicole and Olivia will share information with employers about the Going Pro Talent Fund through the State of Michigan.
The Going PRO Talent Fund (Talent Fund) is a competitive grant that makes awards to Michigan employers to assist in expanding employee training/skills, developing and retaining current and newly hired employees and promote the skill trades. Training funded by the Talent Fund must be short-term and fill
a demonstrated talent need experienced by the employer. Training must lead to a credential for a skill that is transferable and recognized by industry.

REFUND POLICY
If you are unable to attend a chapter event and wish to cancel your registration, you must notify the AHRM Board Secretary no later than the Friday prior to the event at 4pm. If you notify us prior to 4pm on the Friday prior to the event, you will receive a refund for your payment. If you are unable to notify us prior to this time, no refunds will be given. If you register for an event but choose to pay at a later date, but do not attend the event (or cancel within the specified timeframe) you will still be invoiced for the payment.
