Employment law is always changing. Miller Johnson employment attorneys will provide an overview of the latest employment law updates, trends and what is on the horizon for 2024. Leigh Schultz regularly provides employers of all shapes, sizes and industries with advice and counsel on day-to-day employment-related issues. Leigh is also an experienced traditional labor lawyer and litigator. She negotiates collective bargaining agreements, arbitrates labor grievances, helps employers during union organizing campaigns and regularly defends employers against claims made by employees. Leigh frequently assists employers in drafting personnel policies, employee handbooks, employment agreements, and severance agreements.

Rebecca Strauss counsels manufacturers, health care providers, professional service providers, and public and private employers in matters of wage and hour law, employment discrimination, disabilities and accommodation, discipline and termination, hiring, and workplace harassment.  She advises a preventive approach to ensure protective policies and maintain compliant processes and procedures.  When litigation becomes necessary, Rebecca represents employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, and retaliation, breach of contract, and wage and hour concerns.
